HELLO Regina!!! This is Cole Hutchison just saying hi, and good luck on the big ride. I'm gonna miss you in Health Class, but I know you are going to have fun riding your bike. Holy smokes, Maine to California is a long way. Just remember the most important thing is "ride smart, and ride safe :) "

Hi Ms.Erskine!!! I think your idea to spread awareness on celiac disease is wonderful! I'm sure you will reach out to many people who have celiac symptoms! Well I'm on David's computer, because mine's dead, and he's getting impatient! Best wishes, and have a great memorable time!

Hey Ms. Erskine! How are you doing? Well I guess you are doing well. Anyway, school is the most boring thing still. You know nothing ever happens here. I think you are the only thing that gave us a big break. Well, anyway, I have to go right now. We are reading something really boring. I think it's about space. Gotta go! Bye!

Sincerely,
Brianna Fournier

P.S. You are really lucky to get a chance to do this. I can barely cross the street.

Hello! This is a student that unfortunately you shall not be seeing next year because I moved to Windham. Is the bike ride really hard? Are you having fun? You are doing great. I hope that man that wants to make it to Washington makes it there too. Well hopefully we will talk again, but until then bye and I hope you do great.

Sincerely
Jennifer Slegde

Plans are taking shape!

Howdy! Things are starting to come together for my ride. I'm still working on the exact route that I'll take - I'm hoping to take some scenic routes while still going close enough to big towns and cities so that I can spread the word about celiac to as large an audience as possible. I've gotten some generous food donations from a few different companies that specialize in gluten-free foods and will be using that for some of my meals and snacks along the trip. We just got some fresh snow here in Maine so outdoor riding is out of the question, but I have started to ride at the gym and on my indoor trainer. I'm also hoping to set up my trainer and ride at some of my local supermarkets to try to raise some money and awareness right here in the Portland area, so if you see a crazy woman pedaling her bike at the local Shaw's, it just might be me! I'll write again soon. Thanks for your support!
